Our team has over 20 years teaching/choreographing experience and is passionate about creating well rounded dancers. Not only do we focus on proper technique and strength, we also focus on the importance of becoming confident positive people through dance. 

Robyn Andrus Lenker


Contemporary/ Ballet/ Jazz Technique/ Pre-K


Robyn is a classically trained ballerina with expertise in the Vagnova and Ceccheti Methods. She also received years of extensive training in: Jazz , Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap, Character, Flexibility, Flamenco, Russian, Cheer and Tumbling. She is a certified Xtend Barre, Mat Pilates and Hot Pilates Instructor.


Robyn discovered her love of performing at a young age when she was chosen for the UNLV Starlet Dance Comapny, where she performed at UNLV basketball and football games, as well as the NCAA Final Four Championship.


She studied nearly a decade at Studio One in Las Vegas, under the direction of the renowned Inez Mourning. Inez is well known throughout the country for her strong technical emphasis and effective teaching style, and for producing well- rounded dancers. Inez remains a friend and mentor of Robyn's to this day. Robyn had the opportunity to study under ballet greats such as: Clarence McDorman, Cynthia Gregory, Susan Stroman, J'acques d'Amboise, and the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre.


In her youth, Robyn competed in numerous regional and national dance competitions where she earned top awards including 'Dancer of the Year' at Rainbow National Dance Competitions. Robyn was a member of her junior high drill team and was a varsity cheerleader in high school. Her high school cheer squad won several state and national titles during her participation.


Upon moving to Utah Robyn became a NBA dancer for the Utah Jazz. She danced and choreographed for the Jazz dancers and was chosen for an elite deligation that performed internationally on the behalf of the NBA.


Robyn is a devoted mother of 7 children who has continued to enjoy teaching and choreographing at various dance studios throughout the Wasatch  Front over the last 15 years. She is often called upon to teach advanced classes and private lessons.

I have purposefully designed Summit Dance Academy as a place  where students not only recieve the best insrtuction in dance fundamentals and techniques, but a place where character development is equally important. My greatest desire as a teacher is to give others the same opportunities I was given, so they will be able to take their goals and dance career as far as they would like go." - Robyn

Aimee Lohner

Jazz Technique/ Lyrical


Aimee is a former Disney Channel choreographer and Internatinal dance instructor.


Featured in industrial performances for groups such as Q Lube, the Comedy Circut, and LA Dance Magic, Aimee transformed her love of dance and experience as a dancer into teaching opportunities all over the world, including Studio 225 in Zurich, Switzerland, at Chicago National Dance Masters, and National Dance Camp with Jackie Sleight and Tony Coppola.


Her choreography credits include the Disney Channel feature film. "Wish Upon a Star", Starlight Productions National Finals Distinguished Performers, and Tranzsommer Dance Festival in Innsburk, Austrailia.


Aimee is the former owner of Utah Academy Dance Studio and has a passion for motivating and inspiring students. This has made her a much sought after instructor and choreographer.




Teressa Evans

Ballet intensives


Teressa Evans danced with Ballet West and is a former principal dancer with the Utah Regional Ballet.


Teresa's vast ballet experience began at the age of 6 with Utah Regional Ballet, where she eventually became a principle dancer with leading roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Snow Queen, and Clara in the Nutcracker. At age 17 she signed a contract with Ballet West in Salt Lake City. While there she performed in numerous productions, such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Anna Karenina, Coppelia, Lambarena, Peter Pan, In & Out, Bach Moves, and Balenchiene's Western Symphony.


She has also performed for many years at the Regional Dance America Festival, where she trained with dancers and choreographers  from across the country. In 1994, she performed in the "Legend of Timpanogas" at the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi.


Prior to her joining Summit Dance Academy's Summer Programs, Teresa has taught and choreographed for numerous studios in Utah, amd is recognized as an excellent teacher of ballet fundamentals, general dance technique, and character development. Her ability to build dancer's talents and to help them thrive has encouraged many of her students to achieve success and professional opportunitites.


Jeniece Pratt



Jeniece is a classically trained Bolshoi ballerina and a former evaluator for Salt Lake's prestigous Ballet West.


At Ballet West, Jeniece judged applicants and assisted with the Educational Outreach Program, focusing on bringing the arts to young children. It is a passion that has never left her.


Beginning with the Linda Fenton Dance Studio, Jeniece also studied in New York's American Ballet Theater, the Joffrey Ballet, and Steps on Broadway. She is also trained in Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Funk Beat, Zumba, Ballroom, and African. While a member of the SLCC Ballet Company, Jeniece received university level training in anatomy and kinesiolog. She also worked for five years with a physical therapist specializing in sports related injuries, and is a certified nutrition assistant. Having performed on numerous dance companies, taught adult dance, and sat on the board of a local dance company, she now delights in sharing her knowledge with young dancers.


Jeniece is excited to share her knowledge and talent with her students at Summit Dance Academy. 



Jennifer Jenkins

Hip Hop


Jen is a well sought after Hip Hop teacher and choreographer with many 1st place and overall high point awards.


She started dancing at a young age studying hip hop, jazz, and ballet at Collet's Studio. While serving as President of her high school drill team, Jen discovered her love of teaching and choreography. She went on to dance in college as a member of the SLCC dance team.


Jen has years of teaching experience and enjoys sharing her talents with all her students. Over the last 10 years Jen has been hired by various studios, drill teams, and cheer squads for choreography.
